Ken has extensive knowledge of the industry through working in positions ranging from production, operations, equipment technician and safety professional. Ken is and extensively experienced safety trainer and maintained his instructors certification in: H2S Alive, TDG, WHMIS, OSSA Confined Space, OSSA Fall Protection, Detection and Control of Flammable Substances, Fit Testing, Fall Arrest and Defensive Driving.

Catherine Jevic is a graduate of the University of Alberta’s Occupational Health and Safety & Environmental Resource Management programs and currently owns and operates a All-Safe HSE Inc., a consulting firm specializing in HSE and training program development. Catherine has extensive Oil & Gas experience ranging from Environmental Surveys to On-Site Safety Coordination throughout Alberta, B.C. and Saskatchewan. Teaching OSSA Confined Space and OSSA Fall Protection as well as St.John’s First Aid and other courses she has developed for clients.

Carl – Contract Instructor
Carl has a diverse background in the oil and gas industry as well as equipment repair and renovations and small business to his credit. A strong desire to continue learning new things also has him a RMT certificate and experience with catering, just for fun. He has worked in an O2 fire flood for British Petroleum as well as operated both field and plant facilities. A full slate of training courses in his resume include, PST, First aid, H2SAlive, OSSA Fall protection, Aerial work platform, Zoom boom, OSSA Confined Space and other associated industry related courses. A love of sports such as volleyball, baseball and hunting and fishing, with golf as additional passions. A grandfather, he loves to partake of the grandchildren’s growth and development, by watching them in their endeavors. His desire is to provide training that would make each employer notice a positive change in their employee’s actions after completing one of his courses. Karen – Contract Instructor
Karen is a graduate of NAIT’s Respiratory Therapy Program and has extensive health care experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. Working at NAIT as an educator and teaching St John’s First Aid has allowed Karen to work with many different individuals from a variety of industries. Also as a Licensed Emergency Medical Responder, Karen remains active in the Health care field as the Designated First Aider on site.
Karen’s teaches St.John Ambulance First Aid at the KGSS Edmonton locations.
